A native of Erwin, Sydney is a daughter of Johnny Leo Masters and Kathy Ann Masters. She is of the Baptist faith. Sydney is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Leo and Edna Masters; maternal grandparents Sidney Charles and Jenny Edwards; aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Richard Adams.
Sydney Paige (Masters) Bennett leaves behind to cherish her memory: Mother and father: Johnny L. Masters and Kathy E. Masters; Sons: Jackson Shelton, Bryce Bennett; Several cousins and nieces; Special friends: Brittany Muhn, Lacie Harris; Aunts: Kim Garland, Joy Moffitt and husband, Steve; Uncle: Doug Edwards and wife, Tammy.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Sydney Paige (Masters) Bennett in a funeral service to be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2020 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Kevin Laws will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2020 and will continue until service time in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. Those attending the committal service should meet at Valley Funeral Home by 2:00 pm on Saturday to go in procession. Pallbearers will be: Doug Edwards, Chase Edwards, Scotty Greene, Noel Muhn, TT McInturff, Spud Sears, Steve Moffitt and Mark Griffith.
