Mildred Crabtree Mosley

ERWIN - Mildred Crabtree Mosley, 93, Erwin, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in the Christian Care Center, Erwin, after a brief illness.

She was born March 12, 1926, in Knoxville to the late William H. & Georgia Anna McKinney Crabtree. Mrs. Mosley was a 1944 graduate of Happy Valley High School where she was salutatorian. She worked at Oak Ridge Uranium Enrichment Facility during World War II. She had lived in Florida for 42 years, then returned to Elizabethton for several years before going to Erwin. She was a homemaker and also was a partner in her first husband’s masonry business. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Elizabethton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Mosley, Sr., and a son: James McKeehan, Jr.

Survivors include Two daughters: Brenda Hagendorfer, Pensacola, Florida and Theresa Phelps, Erwin. three sons: Alan McKeehan & wife Lupi, San Antonio, Texas; David McKeehan, Bonifay, Florida; and Gregory McKeehan, Elizabethton., A Step-Son & wife: Bill & Pat Mosley, Elizabethton. Seven Grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; A sister: Billie Jean Woodruff; Several nieces & nephews.

Graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020, in the Patton-Simmons Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Emery officiating. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
