Ronnie, 68, was blessed with God’s love for people. Always ready with a smile or joke he could brighten even the darkest day. He thought nothing of putting himself last to take care of others, not only family, but fellow veterans – offering free meals on Thanksgiving. Ronnie had a personal joy not often found in people today. He was a man with an indomitable spirit who worked his way from poverty to owning his own business. Ronnie served his God, his family, and his country honorably. He was loved deeply and completely. He knew where his hope came from - Jesus- and because of this; we’re able to say See You-Later, not Good-Bye. If you need hope too, John 3:16 is the verse for you.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father Wayne, mother Lucille, brother Billy, sister Lola, and his much loved horse Brick. Ronnie is survived by his cat Dumplin, beloved ex-wife Connie, children: Tera & Cody, grandson Colton, grand fur-babies: Lacey, Gracie, Baby Cries, and Percy, many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
We’ll be celebrating Ronnie’s move to heaven on Sunday December 15th at Tetrick Funeral Home in Johnson City. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm with a service to follow at 3:00pm.
