Evelyn Sue “Sis” Luttrell

JOHNSON CITY - Evelyn Sue “Sis” Luttrell, 83, of Johnson City, went home to be with the Lord Saturday October 26, 2019 at Princeton Transitional Care.

Evelyn was born to the late Lindsey Delaney and Carrie Mae (French) Luttrell in Bristol, TN. She was a member of Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.

Evelyn retired from the Eastman Chemical Company after 31 years of dedicated service. She was loved by all those who knew her and had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews. She loved going to their baseball games, dance recitals, and horse shows, and she loved cheering on the UT Vols, and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Lewis, Don, and Bobby Luttrell, and infant sister; Peggy Ann Luttrell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister; Charlotte McQuary, special nieces; Caroline Darden (Bill), and Jennifer Wynd (Bruce), nephew; Steve Luttrell (Tina), great nieces and nephews; Jennifer Darden Cross (Jordan), Reed Darden, John, Willie, Matt, and Caroline Lindsey Wynd, Noah and Alina Luttrell, great-great nephew Cooper Cross, along with several cousins, neighbors, and friends.

Evelyn’s family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Friday November 1, 2019 at Tetrick Funeral Services from 11:30am-1:00pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm with the Reverend Carol Wilson officiating. A Graveside Service will be conducted at Glenwood Cemetery in Bristol on Friday November 1, 2019 beginning at 3:00pm.
