His family has been by his side through his declining health and his most recent battle with cancer.
He was the son of the late Robert (Bob) Feathers and Ada Shipley Feathers. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Robert, Gene, Floyd, Howard, Charles and one sister, Martha Alvarez.
He retired from Huck International in Paramount, CA, after forty plus years of service. He enjoyed gardening, golfing and fishing, especially with his sons and grandson.
Those left to cherish his memory are sons Brent of Irvine, CA, Bryan and wife, Claudia of Cerritos, CA; four grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Justin, Emily, Cheyenne and Dakota Feathers; the mother of his children, Becky Avera; brother, Fred of Kingsport, TN; sisters, Lela Mae Conner and Lorena Hagy of Gray, TN; special life-long friend, Randy Bowser and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial and celebration of life was held by his family in CA. His wish was to be cremated and his final resting place will be in his beloved Tennessee Hills, he never forgot.
A memorial service will be held in his hometown of Gray, TN at a later date.
