He was a native of Johnson City and son of the late Jimmy Todd Scott and Carol Ann Sparks Cloyd.
In addition to his parents, Darren was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia Marie “Nanny” Sparks, in April of this year.
Darren was a big hearted person, was full of life, and loved being around his family and friends. He had a passion for selling cars and being around cars. Darren was loved by all those who knew him.
Those left to cherish Darren’s memory include his son, Darren Brennan Scott, brothers: J. Chantz Scott, and Marc Anthony Cloyd; grandfather, Jimmy Scott, step-father, Mark Cloyd, aunts and uncles: Cindy Christian (Brian), Phillip Sparks (Cindy), Billy Sparks (Lisa), Cathey Vance (Todd); niece, Kinzton Scott, nephew, Chancellor Scott, special friends, Forrest and Kelly Wilhelm and their daughter Liberty, many other friends also survive.
The family will greet friends to share memories of Darren on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City. A Graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at Washington County Memory Gardens with Pastor officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:20 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Brennan Scott Memorial Fund (Darren’s son) at First Tennessee Bank.
