GRAY - Mary Lee Fitzgerald Barron (89) Gray. passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

She retired from Gray Elementary School as a Food Service Manager. She was a member of Hales Chapel and Crossroads Christian Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years. She displayed her dedication to her community by completing countless hours of service for various organizations.

Mary Lee was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Trina Von Barron; husband Billy Guy Barron; sister, Patsy Marie Sanders; and brother, William Guy (Toby) Fitzgerald.

She is survived by her two daughters Transy Carico and husband, Jeffery, Treda Anderson and husband, Todd; one son, Travis Barron and wife, Laura; the loves of her life, four granddaughters, Johnna Jones, Lauren Eslinger, Haley Anderson, Macey Anderson; one great-grandson, Jamen; and one great-granddaughter Lila .

The family will receive friends Friday 5:00 p.m. until 7:00pm at Crossroads Christian Church. A celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Senior Minister, Curtis Booher. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Gray Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Jones, Jimmy Eslinger, Logan Hitechew, Kurt Carty, Greg Head, Derrick Letterman, Johnny Harkleroad and Darrell Jackson. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Crossroads Christian Church in honor of Mary Lee.

To her Sunday School Class members, she loved each of you dearly. To Angie, her beloved sitter, we thank you.

Your kind words, caring touch, your arms around her neck, brightened each and every day. Not only have you chosen a career that only a select few can do, but you excel in a way that is a blessing to so many.
