Kay Head

GRAY - Kay Head, age 68, of Gray, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Life Care Center of Gray.

A native of Norton, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Willard Bill Hall and the late Mary Lawson Holbrook. Mrs. Head attended Wayland Freewill Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and was lovingly a second mother to many.

Survivors include her son, Michael Head, Gray; two grandchildren, Whitney Castle and husband Heath and Lauren Head, all of Kingsport; one brother, Roger Hall and wife Janice, Kingsport; one sister, Debbie Nicholson, Gray. Her special four legged dog, Jake. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Head will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 10, 2019 in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor Bo Castle officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M prior to the service in the chapel.

The entombment services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 11 at Washington County Memory Gardens, Johnson City. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those who wish to attend the entombment service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 P.M. Tuesday.
