In addition to his father, Steven was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Tabitha, infant grandson, Michael Wayne Ragan, and his brother-in-law, Benny Buck.
Steven was a dedicated Christian man who loved the Lord. He was known for riding his motorcycle for hundreds of miles at a time. Steven was a hard worker and could most days be found on the job looking out his big picture window of his 18 wheeler truck. Anyone who came in contact with him always was left with a smile or a belly laugh. He will be sorely missed
In addition to his mother, Georgia, he is survived by his son, Steve McLemore, Jr., and his wife Sara, sister, Sharon Buck, brother, Roy “Mac” McLemore, Jr.and his wife, Elizabeth, nieces and nephews: Nic Buck (Allison), Ashley McLemore (Casey Wise), Dallas McLemore; 2 great-nephews: Cameron and Mason Buck; special friend, Sherry Brewer-Campbell, and his trucker family.
The family would like to thank the Oncology staff, and all the doctors and nurses at Ballad Health for the loving care provided to Steven.
The family will greet friends to share memories on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 5:00 pm until a Celebration of Steven’s life at 7:00 pm in the Sunrise chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services Johnson City with Dr. Vic C. Young and Pastor Nathan Jennings officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be sent to The Steven McLemore Memorial Fund at Select 7 Credit Union.
