A native of Washington County, TN he was the son of Wanda Sue Brumitt Lyons, Johnson City and the late Gary Lynn Lyons. He was self-employed in auto body and paint repair and it was a big part of his life. He was a very good son, husband and Dad.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant son; a brother, Scott Lyons and an uncle, Terry Lyons. Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother include his wife of twenty-six years, Kristina Vest Lyons of the home; two daughters, Jordan Baker and husband Logan, Bristol, TN and Britney Lyons; two grandchildren, Jaxon Baker and Amelia Baker and special niece and nephew, Autumn and Noah, Johnson City. Other nieces and nephews and special friends, Jeff Price, Todd Price and Bobby Arnold also survive.
A service to honor the life of Mr. Robbie Lynn Lyons will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, February 3, 2019 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Ken Jefferies officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. on Sunday prior to the service. Private disposition will be held at a later date.
