Willie Winfred “Wimpy” Baldwin

LIMESTONE - Willie Winfred “Wimpy” Baldwin, 89, of Limestone, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at his home.

He was the son of the late Bill and Dolly Baldwin of Limestone.

Mr. Baldwin attended Limestone FWB Church. He was a farmer and truck driver for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years: Maxine Tilson Baldwin; daughters: Sharon Edwards of Jonesborough, Shelby (Glenn) Carter, Sandy (Kris) Hollenbeck, both of Limestone; son: Vaughn (Tracy) Baldwin of Jonesborough; grandchildren: Jason Baldwin, Amy Edwards, Victoria Baldwin-King, Madison Baldwin, Damon Brown, Darcy Hollenbeck; great-grandchildren: Austin Baldwin, Mackenzie Baldwin, Ken King, Zaila King; brother-in-law: Jim McCurry of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews; special friend: David Stanton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Larry Baldwin; brother and sister-in-law: Ralph “Bozo” and Evelyn Baldwin; 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law: Bonnie McCurry, Dorothy and Ordary Lewis.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5-7PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will follow visitation at 7PM in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Donnie Bailey and Rev. Gary Gentry will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet Saturday, at 10:45AM at Urbana Cemetery for the 11AM graveside service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
