Carrol Waterbury

JOHNSON CITY - Carrol Waterbury, of Johnson City, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

He was a native of Cave Springs, Arkansas and son of the late Sydney E. and Lucy Romack Waterbury.

In addition to his parents, Carrol was preceded in death by his four siblings.

Carrol proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He later managed small businesses for several years. Carrol was a member of First United Methodist church in Johnson City.

Those left to cherish Carrol’s memory include his loving wife of twenty five years, Fran, his children: Ronnie, Lisa and her husband Dennis, Janet and her husband George, Alan and his wife Becky; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and his church family.

Carrol’s family would like to offer a special thank you to the Johnson City Medical Center 2300 nursing staff for the compassion, love and support shown during his stay there.

The family will greet friends to share memories on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 1:30 pm until a Celebration of Carrol’s Life at 3:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, Johnson City with Pastor Jane Taylor officiating. A private Graveside and Committal Service will be held at a later date at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
