Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site, South Roan Street, will provide an all-you-can-eat breakfast Saturday, Nov. 9, from 8-10 a.m. along with reenactments and Veterans Day activities as part of the site’s “A Walk in Their Boots” event.

The event is held to educate the public on the history of the American military from the Revolutionary War to modern day and honor all the people who served their country. There will be reenactments of World War I and Vietnam War battles throughout the day and plenty of food for breakfast, according to a Tuesday announcement from Tipton-Haynes.

Admission for the event is free. The breakfast is a $7 charge for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Children ages 3 and under are free. Donations are welcomed and will go to help the site continue its mission values.
