Boones Creek Opry music: Boones Creek Opry, located at 525 W. Oakland Ave. No. 1, will feature Unicoi County High School Bluegrass Band, Saturday at 6 p.m., followed by open mic at 7 p.m. Admission is $1. For more information on this and other future events at Boones Creek Opry, call 423-461-0151.

Symphony of the Mountains at Northeast State: Symphony of the Mountains Youth Orchestra and Primo Orchestra will perform Saturday at 7 p.m. at Northeast State Community College in Blountville. Music to be performed includes works by Bartok, Copland, Faure and Schubert. Admission is free.

Christmas Bazaar: St. Paul’s Church in Kingsport, located at the corner of Watauga and Ravine, will host its 11th annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find unique artisan-made gift items, holiday décor, home-made baked goods and frozen soups. Come early for the ever-popular Jewelry Booth with gently used, re-purposed and original jewelry. A delicious lunch – Rhett’s Pit Barbeque, cornbread, slaw, dessert and drink – is available for $10 per plate from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The annual event supports community ministries including St. Paul's Food Pantry and project "Laundry Love." Admission is free.

ETSU Chamber Orchestras present orchestral masterworks: East Tennessee State University’s Chamber Orchestras will present a concert of orchestral masterworks at First Presbyterian Church in Johnson City on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. Music at the Carter Fold: On Saturday at 7:30 p.m. the Carter Family Fold in Hiltons, Virginia, will present a concert by Folk Soul Revival. Music and Open Mic at Willow Tree Coffeehouse and Music Room: On Thursday, Willow Tree will host Cataldo and Young Mister at 8 p.m. followed by Kind Thieves, Friday at 8 p.m., and the Monster Atlantic album release, Saturday at 8 p.m. Every Wednesday at 6 p.m., Willow Tree also hosts its Open Mic Night. 1927 Society Concert Series: Bristol’s Birthplace of Country Music Museum will present “an intimate 1927 Society Concert Series experience” featuring music by Front Country on Saturday at 7 p.m. Tier one tickets, which include dinner and open bar, are $80.
