Pint for a Pint Ice Cream Blood Drive Join Marsh Regional Blood Center for its Pint for a Pint Ice Cream Blood Drive, Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Founders Park. Experience live music, food trucks and the opportunity to save three lives. All donors will receive a pint glass for their generosity. Local ice creameries will be on-hand to fill the pint up. 

Buccaneer Brawl: Smash Brothers’ Tournament and Gaming Festival In this inaugural ETSU Millennium Center gaming event set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., students and the public may register to compete for cash prizes in Smash Ultimate Doubles, Smash Ultimate Singles, Melee Singles and Melee Doubles. Fun side activities like Dance Dance Revolution, air hockey, hoop shots, Mario Kart Wii and more will also be available.

Spend August Under the Stars at Allandale Winston-Salem's Big Daddy Love will perform at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, at the Allandale Amphitheater. Food from two food trucks, a dessert truck and beer from Bays Mountain Brewing Company will be available for purchase starting at 6 p.m. Concert admission is free.

LampLight Theatre tackles an extreme makeover LampLight Theatre in Kingsport presents "Foggy Valley Extreme Funeral Home Makeover," at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, at 2 p.m., Saturdays, and 3 p.m., Sundays, Aug. 30-Sept. 22. Yoga in Johnson City Join others with the Downtown Yoga Center every Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Founders Park amphitheater for a free hour of yoga in the park. Those who wish to attend can just show up; no registration is required. Locals can also head to the Yee-Haw Brewing Company every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. for Yee-Haw Yoga.
