Bert Street Music series Johnson City’s Memorial Park Community Center’s outdoor amphitheater will continue its free, four-concert series featuring a mix of seasoned performers. Southern Rebellion will perform Tuesday at 7 p.m.  

Lakeside Concert Series continues Winged Deer Park’s Lakeside Concert Series continues the 2019 season on Thursday with The Bosses. The free lakeside concerts will be held 7-9 p.m. each Thursday through Aug. 8 at Winged Deer Park’s Lakefront Festival Plaza Goulding Amphitheater, 199 Carroll Creek Road, Johnson City. Third Thursday Main Street Jonesborough’s Third Thursday will take place Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Discover unique finds at the many shops, explore museums and grab dinner or a tasty treat from one of the eateries or confectionaries. This family-friendly and open-to-the-public event takes place on the third Thursday of every month from 5 to 8 p.m. throughout downtown Jonesborough.

Keep Kingsport Beautiful presents 'Beekeeping for Beginners' Join local beekeeper Wendy Brown at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Kingsport Farmers Market, located at 308 Clinchfield Street in Downtown Kingsport. The free session is part of the Keep Kingsport Beautiful Homegrown Gardening Series. Sessions typically last 45 minutes to an hour, and no registration is required.

Twilight Barge Rides at Bays Mountain Spend an evening on the lake as the sun sets at Bays Mountain Park in Kingsport beginning at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 24. Reservations are required by calling 423-229-9447. Tickets are $5 per person for non-members; free for park association members.

Live Music Downtown Johnson City Capone’s will host Art Smashes Records, Gipsy Danger and others on Friday, 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., as well as Mind Modes with Nobushi and MoonBurnz on Saturday at 10 p.m. The Hideaway will feature The Kindest People, The Styrofoam Turtles and Inside Voices on Friday at 10 p.m. and the Loose Balloons tape release party, Saturday at 10 p.m.

Founders After 5 On Friday at 6 p.m., Cross Anchor Union will be performing at Founders Park during the Founders After 5 concert series. The free 2019 concert series featuring various acts began May 10 and will continue Friday evenings until Sept. 27. Barefoot in the Park at Founders Join others every Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Founders Park amphitheater for a free hour of yoga in the park. Those who wish to attend can just show up; no registration is required.
