The story follows the young Francesca Johnson, a stay at home mom who decides she needs some alone time, as she finds herself helping a National Geographic photographer, Robert Kincaid. Sparks fly when Francesca suddenly realizes that she has more feelings than a friend should have. Francesca has to ask herself a very important question, does she stay with her family, or does she run away with the love she has found for Robert?
“There are songs that come free from the blue-eyes grass, from the dust of a thousand country roads. This is one of them. ‘The Bridges of Madison County’ started as a best selling novel, then was adapted into film, and finally into a Tony-Award winning musical beautifully crafted by Jason Robert Brown, and Marsha Norman,” said Tricia Matthews, director of “The Bridges of Madison County”. “There have been several times in my life when a play comes along that I ‘need’. This story strikes chords and pushes buttons that everyone needs to hear. The music and tale just opens ones heart to the possibilities of true love and romance, of destiny and forever.”
