Friday Night Dances: Senior Services will offer one Friday Night Dance for the month February. Shades of Refinement will headline on Feb. 16. Dances run from 7-10 p.m., cost is $5. Those 50 and older can register at either the senior or recreation desks by Jan. 31. Regular schedule of two dances per month will resume in March. Information, call 423-434-6237.
New gaming systems: The staff at MPCC invites citizens of all ages to attend eight free sessions of Open Game Room to learn about the new EyePlay and tWall interactive systems and Wii video game console. Sessions will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in February beginning Feb. 1. Register in person at MPCC prior to each session. Information, call 423-434-6237.

Computer instruction: Starting in February, the library will host a new computer instruction series on Thursdays from 3-4 p.m. in the second floor Computer Center. A wide range of class topics will be offered to help patrons of all experience levels improve their computer skills. These classes are free and open to the public, and no registration is required.
