“The risk of transmission to other patients and staff remains low, as all Veterans were discharged home based on clinical status with instructions for home isolation and self-care in accordance Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines,” a statement read.
The statement also encouraged hand-washing, staying home when sick and avoiding touching your face. If you’re a veteran with COVID-19 symptoms, you must call the VA before going to the facility.
