COVID-19 cases hit 957 statewide; Washington County reports nine

The Tennessee Department of Health reported 957 confirmed cases of the new corona virus Thursday, up from 784 the day before. A total of three fatalities had occurred.

Washington County has reported nine cases, eight in Greene County, four in Sullivan County and one in Unicoi. No cases have been reported in Carter or Johnson Counties. Of the 957 cases statewide, three people have died and 76 have been hospitalized. Nearly 15,000 tests have been conducted across the state.
