ELIZABETHTON — Life Care Center, a nursing and rehabilitation facility in Elizabethton, earned a deficiency-free score on its annual state survey, conducted from Dec. 8-10, 2019.

“Earning a deficiency-free survey tells people that we really care,” Angi Bradnan, executive director said in a press release. “We take our responsibility of providing quality care very seriously.

“I’m so proud of my team, and I think it is great to have all their hard work recognized in this way,” said Bradnan

To pass the state survey each year, nursing facilities must meet hundreds of criteria that address nursing care, resident safety, patient’s rights, food services and administration. Surveyors spend several days in the building reviewing paperwork, observing resident care and interviewing residents and associates.
