The event will feature five Christmas-themed, hands-on activity stations that focus on healthy eating, physical activity, literacy, resiliency and mentoring and crafts. “Santa Claus” will also be there.
“While visiting these stations, children will be engaged in activities that are both enjoyable and educational. Each station will be holiday-themed, but we ultimately hope these activities will spark the children’s imagination and carry into their day-to-day lives,” said Tara Chadwell, director of the Ballad Health Children’s Resource Center.
“We invite everyone to join us for a day of fun, family-friendly education, activities, snacks, and of course, a visit from Santa Claus himself.”
A photographer will also be available so families can have their picture taken and receive a 5-by-7-inch print. Santa Claus will be in the literacy station, where family members can also take their own photos.
