ELIZABETHTON – Brandy Treadway, R.N., was recently named director of nursing at Life Care Center of Elizabethton, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

“Brandy comes to us with a lot of experience and clinical knowledge,” said Angi Bradnan, executive director. “She’s also not afraid to jump right in and help anywhere she is needed.”

Treadway comes to Life Care Center of Elizabethton from Life Care Center of Gray, Tennessee, where she served as nursing director. She has been a director for 18 years and an RN for almost 23 years. She has experience in emergency rooms, medical/surgical and hospital education. She is a certified wound ostomy continence nurse.

“I love taking care of the geriatric population because I feel I am giving back to them,” said Treadway.

Originally from Forsyth, Georgia, Treadway has lived in Elizabethton for the past eight years. She has two daughters – 20-year-old Bailey and 18-year-old Hannah. Her husband of 13 years, Greg, is originally from Elizabethton.
