The contests, which have been administered on Facebook pages with video postings, have been going on since the quarantine period started last month and are intended to bring together entire families to compete in weekly games. The latest contest, which started Monday, not only brings together the entire family, it brings the family pets into the competition.
It’s the “Best Pet Tricks” competition. This competition is open to all ages and any kind of pet. Participants may upload a video of themselves, their children, or anyone in their households showing off their pet’s best trick. Participants are asked to upload their video to the Parks and Recreation’s Facebook page, or send a message through Facebook messenger.
The competition started Monday and will continue until noon on Friday, May 8.
A winner will be chosen Friday and will be awarded a prize pack courtesy of the library and the Parks and Recreation Department.
