The latest results were a perfect score achieved on the FY 2018 Section Eight Management Assessment Program. In the score received on April 18, the housing agency achieved a 100 percent score and was designated a high performer.
The assessment program enables the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to better manage the Section Eight program by identifying public housing agency’s capabilities and deficiencies related to the administration of the program.
Housing authorities are rated on 15 indicators: selection from the waiting list, reasonable rent, determination of adjusted income, utility allowance schedule, housing quality standards quality control, HQS enforcement, expanding housing opportunities, payment standards, timely annual re-examinations, correct tenant rent calculations, pre-contract HQS inspections, annual HQS inspections, lease-up, family self-sufficiency and a deconcentration bonus.
The EHDA received a score of 130 out of a possible 130.
