The agency was evaluated on March 29 on the fiscal year 2018 Public Housing Assessment System. The agency received an overall score of 93 and has once again been designated as a high performer.
The assessment is the comprehensive management tool utilized by the U.S. Department Of Housing and Urban Development to effectively and fairly measure a public housing agency’s performance on an annual basis.
PHAS is based on four indicators: physical condition (40 possible points), financial condition (25 possible points), management operations (25 possible points) and capital fund (10 possible points) with an overall maximum possible score of 100.
The Elizabethton agency received a score of 40 on physical condition, 25 on financial condition, 18 on management operations and 10 on capital fund for a total score of 93.
