ETSU coach Randy Sanders received seven letters of intent, including one from Larkins and Tennessee High’s Nolan Wishon.
“We are thrilled about the group that we were able to sign in the early period,” Sanders said. “This group of seven gives us a great jump start on the 2020 signing class. We are looking forward to filling out the rest of our needs during the February signing day and we are excited about the future ahead for the program.”
Larkins wowed local football fans with his passing, throwing for more than 10,000 yards during his career as he helped build a Crockett program that had been down in the dumps into a conference championship team and consecutive playoff berths.
Wishon, 6-foot-6, 240-pounds, is listed as a tackle.
Others signing on Wednesday were:
— Macho Arza, a 6-2, 185-pound wide receiver from Booker T. Washington High School in Miami
— Deven Brantley, a 6-2, 215-pound linebacker from Charles Drew High School in Riverdale, Georgia
— Chandler Martin, a 6-foot, 215-pound linebacker from Arabia Mountain High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia
