There was plenty of offense spread around for the Bulldogs. Matt Hughes had two rushing touchdowns, while Caleb Oaks had a touchdown catch and a run.
Macon Barden and Gage Chambers each had touchdown runs, while Jonathan Greenwell and Isaiah Greenwell had a scoring reception apiece.
South Greene 25, Happy Valley 6
GREENEVILLE — Mark Crum scored two rushing touchdowns the Rebels knocked off the Warriors to win a share of the Region 1-2A championship.
Levi Myers scored the game’s first touchdown before getting knocked out of the game. Luke Myers also scored for South Greene.
Matthew Bahn had the Warriors’ lone touchdown on a 3-yard touchdown run. Will Tittle led Happy Valley’s rushing attack with 98 yards.
Alcoa 21, Dobyns-Bennett 6
ALCOA — Capping a 68-yard drive with 2:23 to play, Ahmaudd Sankey’s 6-yard touchdown run basically ended Dobyns-Bennett’s hopes.
Down 14-6, the Indians were mounting a scoring threat until fumbling the ball away to Ronald Jackson — setting up the Tornadoes’ final scoring march.
Sankey ended his night with 15 carries for 113 yards, while fullback Tristan Blankenship amassed 82 yards on just three rushes. Sam Vaulton fired touchdown passes to Sankey (21 yards) and Isiah Cox (20).
D-B’s points came from two Jaden Alderson field goals — one from 39 yards out and the other from 42. Phillip Armitage totaled 17 carries for 69 yards for the Indians.
Greeneville 55, Sullivan East 14
BLUFF CITY — The Greene Devils jumped out to a 48-0 halftime lead and rolled to the easy win over the Patriots.
Greeneville piled up 475 yards of offense on 45 plays. Mason Hayworth scored on a 6-yard run and Hunter Brown scored from three yards out for Sullivan East’s scores.
Unaka 30, Sunbright 12
SUNBRIGHT — Landon Ramsey fired a 52-yard touchdown pass to Austin Drew and the Rangers got rolling to the big win.
Ramsey finished with three touchdown throws, including a 25-yarder to Devin Ramsey and a 19-yarder to Drew. Logan Benway scored on a 1-yard touchdown run and a pair of two-point conversions. Drew Smith also scored on a two-point conversion.
Volunteer 35, Cocke County 12
NEWPORT — The Falcons’ defense dominated with five sacks and three more tackles for a loss in win over the Fighting Cocks.
Cam Johnson led Volunteer’s offense with 29 carries for 169 yards and two touchdown. Garrison Barrett was 20-of-30 passing for 264 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored on a 1-yard touchdown run.
Andrew Salyers had four catches for 89 yards. Peyton Derrick had a 56-yard touchdown reception and Caleb Scott hauled in a 9-yard touchdown catch. The Falcons piled up 427 yards of offense.
Tennessee High 42, Sullivan South 7
BRISTOL — The Rebels had tough sledding against the Vikings defense with 34 yards at halftime and 52 heading into the final quarter.
Eli Jones broke through with four carries for 69 yards, including South’s only score in the fourth quarter.
