Under this partnership, NY B.A.S.S. Nation will solely use the technology company’s Connect Fishing League Platform along with the new third generation ConnectScale for their tournament season.
“We are honored to be part of the NY B.A.S.S. Nation team under the leadership of Chris Misciagna and Michael Arndt,” says W. Scott Morris, vice president of tournament operations for Connect Outdoors, Inc.
Connect Outdoors, based in Johnson City, is dedicated to providing tools that bring people together outdoors. Their products are focused on the Sport Fishing Industry and creating tools for recreational and tournament anglers to make fishing experiences more efficient and enjoyable. Connect Outdoors created ConnectScale, a Bluetooth smart digital fishing scale that easily interfaces with a smartphone.
Chris Misciagna, New York B.A.S.S. youth director, says “The New York Bass Nation Youth Program is proud to announce a new partnership with the Connect Outdoors and their ConnectScale Bluetooth fish scale. B.A.S.S. has granted us permission to use this new technology as our primary measuring tool for all of our tournaments this coming season. This will give our tournaments greater accuracy, flexibility and a better social fishing experience for our anglers.”
