Boones Creek Bible Church, 1528 Old Gray Station Road, Johnson City: The morning worship gathering begins at 9:30 and adult Bible fellowship begins at 11 a.m. Children's Sunday school will meet at 11 a.m. The evening worship gathering begins at 5:30. Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church, 1503 Riverview Drive, Elizabethton: The second Annual Valley Forge Community Thanksgiving Service is Sunday evening at 6:30. The local ministry focus this year is the Isaiah 117 House and a love offering will be received for this ministry to children.

Watauga Avenue Presbyterian Church, 610 E. Watauga Ave., Johnson City: “Seeing God.” Sunday school at 10 a.m. Worship at 11 a.m. The annual Thanksgiving Fellowship Lunch will follow the service.

Breakfast and bake sale: Eastern Star Free Will Baptist Church, 153 Eastern Star Ext., Kingsport, will hold a country breakfast bake sale on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 8-11 a.m. Cost is by donation.

Southern gospel quartet: The Landmarks Quartet, from Unicoi, will present worship services in song 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Calvary Baptist Church, 540 Adams St., Erwin, and at 6 p.m. at Riverview Baptist Church, Jackson Love Highway, Erwin (Exit 40 off Interstate 26). Refreshments will be after the singing at Riverview Baptist.

Revival: Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church, 3297 Rocky Springs Road, Piney Flats, will hold a revival with David Dugger Nov. 18-20 at 7 p.m. There will be special singing every night.

Jason Crabb: Zion Baptist Church will host Grammy Award-winning male vocalist Jason Crabb Sunday, Nov. 18, at the T.A. Keyboard concert: Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway, Elizabethton, will host Rita Schuettler and Scott Reynolds in a Sacred Keyboard Concert on Sunday, Nov. 25, at 3 p.m. Both Rita and Scott are Elizabethton natives and cordially invite the public to attend.

Choir anniversary: Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 810 Montgomery St., Johnson City, will celebrate its annual Choir Anniversary Sunday, Nov. 18, at 3:30 p.m. Special guests are the Rev. Lester Lattany and the New Jerusalem Baptist Church congregation and gospel singing group Anointed Women of Christ.

The Perrys: The Southern gospel group will sing at Eastern Star Free Will Baptist Church, Exit 10 off Interstate 26 on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. Admission is free but a love offering will be taken for the group.
