Christmas At The Cabin
What: A traditional celebration of Christmas hosted by the Unicoi History Group
When: Saturday, Dec. 7, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Where: The Bogart-Bowman Cabin, 5012 Unicoi Drive
Featured Attractions: A candy cane hunt for children, hearthside Christmas stories, lighting of the town Christmas tree and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Unicoi Christmas Open House
What: A free holiday reception for Unicoi residents and friends
When: Friday, Dec. 13, from noon-2 p.m.
Where: The Unicoi Tourist Information and Visitors just at exit 32 of Interstate 26
- Free hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants, Mountain Harvest Kitchen and contributing home cooks in Unicoi.
- Mountain Harvest Kitchen tours
- Christmas shopping for unique handmade gift items at the Tanasi Art Gallery inside the visitors center

Tanasi Christmas Market and Open House
What: A special Christmas shopping opportunity at the Tanasi Arts and Heritage Center Gallery featuring handmade arts and crafts and most of the gallery’s featured artist
When: Sunday, Dec. 15, from 1-5 p.m.
Where: The Tanasi Arts and Heritage Center Gallery located inside the visitors center at Exit 32 of Interstate 36.
Featured Attractions: Music, refreshments and ten “Artful Tables” of handcrafted pieces, with Tanasi artists Ellen Pitts, Jim Donnally, Robin Lynch, Dale Moore, David Ramsey, Mallene Ramsey and others on hand to discuss their works and various art forms.
