Hundreds of young trick-or-treaters and their families converged on West Walnut Street on Wednesday during the 23rd annual Trick or Treat on Walnut Street, where dozens of Johnson City businesses and community organizations handed out candy from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The annual Johnson City tradition allows locals of all ages to showcase their best and scariest Halloween costumes while raking up as many sweets as possible. The Johnson City Fire Department, Johnson City Police Department, Firehouse Restaurant, Italian Pizza Pub, BrightRidge and Backdoor Records were just a handful of the businesses involved in this year’s festivities.
