“None of these students has been on the campus for several days,” the release stated. “We are heartened the initial reports we have received indicate students are doing well.
“With the amount of time that has elapsed since students moved off campus, we continue to encourage our Pioneers to use healthy practices and social distancing to reduce their risk while they are off campus.”
The additions brought the number of confirmed cases among students to five. The first case had been reported Friday, followed by a second report on Saturday and a third on Monday.
In Monday’s announcement, administrators said all three had gone out of state together for spring break with a larger group.
