Johnson City Schools accepting nominations for Hall of Fame

Johnson City Schools is accepting nominations for the second Johnson City Schools’ Hall of Fame class, according to a Monday press release.

Nominations will be accepted until May 1. This year’s ceremony will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29, to “recognize and honor those educators, alumni and contributors who have made significant impacts in progressing Johnson City Schools.” 

“The inaugural event was a great success, as we honored a group who had a tremendous impact on Johnson City Schools,” Superintendent Steve Barnett said. “Johnson City Schools has a long list of exceptional individuals, and we look forward to having the opportunity to honor another class this year.

“We invite the community to nominate former educators, alumni and contributors and we hope they will join us as we celebrate their achievements and induction.”
