Kindergarten classes held their 100th Day of School celebration Friday at Ridgeview Elementary, focusing on the theme of “100.”

Students used 100 cups to make different towers and structures and counted out 100 Froot Loops to create a “100-day necklace.” Students also dressed as 100-year-olds and wrote about what they would do with $100.

Teachers also had each child take home a number from 1 to 100 to decorate it and included the number in a 100 Day number mural in their kindergarten hall.

“After the celebration, teachers plan to take the numbers down one by one to count backward how many days of school are left,” the school's press release read. “Students always enjoy this celebration of their first year in school and the magic of numbers!”
