Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the event. Tickets are $30 each and include a bid number, an entry in the door prize drawing, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment by Travis O’Quinn, lead singer of local band Southern Rebellion.
Businesses or individuals may also contribute items for the auction.
The event will feature a wine pull and a gift card drawing at $10 per cork or gift card. Additional door prize entries may also be purchased for $1 each.
The Southern Appalachian Ronald McDonald House provides housing, meals, and support for children and families of seriously ill children staying in the hospital, and has served over 19,000 families since 1996. Alpha Delta Pi members cook and make crafts for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House and the Silent Auction and Benefit is a chance to support the house financially so that it may continue to serve those in need. Last year, the chapter raised over $31,000.
It costs approximately $89 per day to house each family at the Ronald McDonald House. If the chapter meets its goal of $31,000, it could take care of a day of stay for about 348 families.
“We are thrilled to host our annual Benefit and Silent Auction for the Ronald McDonald House,” says Alpha Delta Pi President Mandy Nutter. “This is truly an incredible organization that has an amazing impact on our community, and we are glad to be able to give back.”
