The concert will be held at Triple J Farms, 290 Heaton Creek Road on Friday, Dec. 6, from 5-8 p.m.
Several performers will be featured in the benefit, including Rhodyjane, an old-time musician and storyteller. The concert will also feature Pastor Josh Cooke, a country and bluegrass artist. There will also be praise band from Heaton Christian Church in Elk Park, North Carolina. The concert is being headlined by contemporary band BulletProof.
The concert will benefit Row Crop, which is set to open in Roan Mountain this spring. The restaurant will seat 70 and will serve lunch and dinner daily and brunch on Saturdays. It will be closed on Sundays.
According to promoters of the benefit concert, the restaurant will be all about community, providing access to a healthy, delicious meal, regardless of whether or not guests can afford it. Row Crop will join two other community cafes in the local area, One Acre Cafe in Johnson City and F.A.R.M. Cafe in Boone, North Carolina.
A $20 donation is being requested for the dinner and concert. There will also be a live charity auction with all proceeds raised directly funding the cafe.
