ELIZABETHTON — The East Tennessee Christian Home and Academy is asking its donors to remember the home and the girls who reside there during the upcoming holiday. The home has launched its 2019 Give Thanks Campaign.

Ron Marvel, director of development at the home and academy, said, “Thank you for prayerfully considering donating the same amount of money to ETCHA for the care of our girls, that you would spend on your Thanksgiving or Christmas meal. Your generosity will make a genuine difference in the life of a child.”

ETCHA also included a list of items that are in short supply and would make a great donation. The list includes: paper towels, bleach, garbage bags, laundry detergent, brooms, disinfectant spray, and hand sanitizer.

The girls’ dorm could also use some exercise equipment (used is fine).

Marvel also said anyone could be a blessing to the home and academy by collecting these items individually or with a church or civic group.
