Events in Boones Creek, Kingsport to benefit American Cancer Society

Two events this week in Johnson City and Kingsport will benefit the American Cancer Society.

On Wednesday, Sept. 25, the inaugural Women Mean Business vendor event will take place at the Waterstone Venue, 1343 Old Gray Station Road in Boones Creek, from 6-9 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit Amy Johnson’s American Cancer Society Women Mean Business campaign.

The event will feature 23 women-owned businesses including boutiques, home décor, make-up/skin care, jewelry, wooden signs, essential oils, decorative cups, kitchen products, spa treatments, and nail designs. All-female band Midnight Gypsy and two food trucks will be on site.

On Thursday, Sept, 26, the Putt the Town Pink event will take place at Kingsport Putt Putt Fun Center 346 W. Stone Drive, Kingsport/, from 6-9 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit Johnathan Collier’s American Cancer Society Real Men Wear Pink campaign.

The event will include two-person and four-person tournaments as well as family miniature golf. Two food trucks will be on site, and Greenwood Party Mixers will provide music. Organizers will draw for various prizes throughout the evening.
