With assistance from Daren Lawson from Ernest Campbell Development, Bill Donoho, one of the owners of Artistry in Glass, and Jody Starnes were removing old windows Monday afternoon from the front of the 1888 building at 107 Buffalo St. in downtown Johnson City.

After being vacant for years, the owners of the 1888 building, California residents Gemma Velasquez and Murray Cruickshank, are rehabilitating the structure’s facade. The window glass removed Monday will be cleaned, restored and reinstalled.

In the meantime, the openings are being boarded up. Artistry in Glass was also involved in restoring the windows in the building now occupied by Trek Bicycle, which is also in downtown Johnson City.
