Johnson City-based roadside assistance company Allied Dispatch Solutions, LLC, announced Wednesday in a press release that it was acquiring a Canadian mobile software company called Rapitow, which operates a roadside assistance app.

This is the second acquisition Allied Dispatch has made in the last 10 months. In March, CEO Anthony Royer announced his company was purchasing the Dominion Auto Association club.

According to the press release, Rapitow is one of the roadside assistance industry’s leading technology innovators. The company was originally founded in 2014, and offers mobile software to schedule, secure and monitor every type of roadside event.

“Joining the success of Allied is exciting. Myself and my leadership team are committed to building a premier global roadside services company,” Waheed Subhani,  Rapitow CEO and senior vice president of Strategic Initiatives for Dominion Automobile Association, said.
