Morris-Baker Funeral Home earns Pursuit of Excellence Award for fourth consecutive year

For the fourth year in a row, Morris-Baker Funeral Home has earned the National Funeral Directors Association’s annual Pursuit of Excellence Award. 

“We’re proud to have received this recognition, and we’re extremely thankful to Johnson City for letting us serve them the last 100 plus years.” Preston McKee, president of Morris-Baker Funeral Home, said in a press release.

The award is presented to firms that have demonstrated a commitment to superior funeral services through adherence to the highest form of ethical and professional service to families and communities. 

Founded in 1915, Morris-Baker Funeral Home specializes in widowed spouse support, canine grief therapy, grief seminars and veterans’ assistance. 

The NFDA is considered the world’s leading funeral service member group dedicated to education, information and advocacy for the funeral service industry. NFDA serves 19,700 individual members and 10,000 funeral homes worldwide.
