Hobby Lobby launching new craft and home decor store in Bristol, Virginia

Hobby Lobby will open a new store in Bristol, Virginia in late August. The location will bring 35-50 jobs to the community, paying $15.70 per hour for full-time and $10.45 per hour for part-time associates, according to a news release.

The new 55,000 square-foot building will be located on Lee Highway and Cabela Drive.

“The success of our stores in Virginia is a good indicator that Bristol shoppers will be pleased with the quality, selection and value we offer in the craft and home decor market,” Kelly Black, Hobby Lobby, Inc.’s director of communication, said in the release. “New customers and customers already familiar with the Hobby Lobby shopping experience are eagerly anticipating this store opening.”

Hobby Lobby has over 800 stores across the nation, each one offering more than 70,000 craft and home decor products.
