East Tennessee State’s basketball program has landed another big-time recruit.

Lucas N’Guessan, a 7-foot center from the Netherlands, is transferring to ETSU from Oklahoma State. College basketball analyst Jeff Goodman reported N’Guessan’s plans and people close to the program have confirmed the news.

ETSU cannot announce the addition of N’Guessan to the team until he signs his scholarship papers, which is expected to happen in the coming days.

N’Guessan, from De Lier, Netherlands, will have to sit out the coming season due to NCAA transfer rules. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.

The 215-pound N’Guessan started seven games for Oklahoma State as a sophomore and shot 52.5 percent from the field, second best on the team. He averaged 1.4 points a game with a season high of seven.

As a freshman, he made 29 of his 43 shots, 67.4 percent.
