ELIZABETHTON—DaShawn Keirsey Jr. and Chris Williams had big hits in a five-run seventh inning that ushered Elizabethton to a 6-3 conquest of Greeneville in Tuesday night’s Appalachian League baseball action at Joe O’Brien Field.

The Twins were getting shut out till Alex Robles came through with an RBI single in the sixth, cutting into a 2-0 Reds advantage.

The seventh started with back-to-back singles from Ricky De La Torre and Lean Marrero, a couple of throwing errors and Yunior Severino’s RBI fielder’s choice.

Replacing Johnnie Schneider (2-3) on the mound, A.J. Moore was met by a two-run Keirsey single. From there came back-to-back doubles from Trevor Casanova and Chris Williams, whose two-bagger brought home two runs for a 6-2 Elizabethton lead.

Finishing 2 for 3, De La Torre was the lone Twins player with multiple hits.
