The Arts Depot, 314 Depot Square, Abingdon, Virginia: Wolf Hills Community School & Miss Amy’s Reggio Emilia Preschool is in celebration of Youth Art Month, Feb. 27 through March 30. Reception March 2, 2 to 4 p.m.

Art on 16, 324 S. Commerce St., Marion, Virginia: Ceramic sculpture by Nikki Blair, ceramics, through Feb. 28.

Art on Main, Historic Main Street, Hendersonville, N.C.: Applications are available for the 60th annual “Art on Main” fine art and fine craft festival in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Festival dates are Sept. 28 and 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. This juried and judged show is produced by the Arts Council of Henderson County. Download an application from the Arts Council’s website, www.acofhc.org. An application can also be requested by emailing the Arts Council at [email protected], or by calling 828-693-8504. Artists must send four images of their work plus a photo of their booth along with their applications. The deadline for applications is May 1.

Dos Gatos Coffee Bar, 238 E. Main St., Johnson City: The artwork of Milligan students will be on display in an exhibit, “Two Cats + a Herd of Buffalo,” at Dos Gatos Coffee Bar in Johnson City, Tennessee. Artwork will remain on display at Dos Gatos through Feb. 25.

The Gallery @ Barr Photographics, 152 E. Main St., Abingdon, Va.: Announces the inaugural installment of the Corner Gallery’s 2019 exhibition series with the return of Radford, Virginia, artist Frank Herzog. He is exhibiting a collection of watercolor or acrylic paintings titled “Reprise.” The show will begin with an opening reception and art talk by Herzog, to which the public is invited, Friday, Feb. 22, 7 to 9 p.m.

The Kingsport Art Guild will present a special exhibit during February titled “Form, Space and Vision: The Art Instructor’s Perspective.” The show will include works of art by Steven Reeves, Renee Pitts, Allison Parker and Donna Bird in the Main Gallery of the Renaissance Center in Kingsport and will run through Feb. 26. Paint or Collage a Pet Party, Feb. 23, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come paint your favorite pet or animal with friends. One will learn color, brushstrokes, paint and collage techniques.
