A quality loss sounds about as oxymoronic as growing smaller, but Science Hill looked awful good in a 45-42 loss at Brentwood Academy on Friday after suffering a pretty ugly 45-0 setback to the same Eagles program last year.

As pleased as East Tennessee State football coach Carl Torbush was with his team following their first public scrimmage on Saturday, he was more impressed with the large crowd which turned out to see the Blue and Gold battle to a 21-21 tie.
