Miracle comeback falls short for Hilltoppers

Down by 12 runs in the third inning, all looked lost for the Hilltoppers. Two hours later, they had taken a one-run lead. The 'Toppers couldn't hold on with a sacrifice fly by West's Jacob Jennings scoring Jordan Artime for an 18-17 win in eight innings.
