Chris Layne has coached one national champion and 54 All-Americans at Milligan College. After last weekend's performance at the NAIA outdoor track and field meet in Alabama, he has reason to believe more titles could soon come to the Carter County campus.

The nationally ranked Vines defeated Fayetteville's Skylar McDonald in the finals for the second straight year, winning 6-2, 6-1 on a crystal clear Friday afternoon at Old Fort Park courts.
