Gingery, Gauntlet Gray, Sleepy Blue, Urban Putty and Tupelo Tree aren't the names of restaurants in the Tri-Cities, but the names of the colors used to cover the inside walls of the new Washington County-Johnson City Animal Shelter at 3411 N. Roan St.

Winds push billboard onto buildings, vehicles

A billboard owned by Lamar Advertising toppled onto a building and two vehicles Monday morning at Ponder Auto Repair on West Market Street in Johnson City after a witness said a sudden gust of wind arrived.
