Off-campus fraternity houses have periodically been a point of contention for residents who live in that area. Neighbors have often complained of noise, litter and parking congestion linked to the fraternity houses.

The Oregon Ducks and the Ohio State Buckeyes met last night in the first College Football Playoff championship game. It was the culmination of a four-team playoff system that began this season to determine the champion of I-A college football.

Tennessee does not have a law making it illegal to smoke in car when a child in present. Smoking also is allowed in nursing homes, tobacco stores, automotive/body shops and private clubs.
